Enhance the notification system to ensure that email notifications are triggered only when the Email notification channel is explicitly mapped to an event. Notifications should always follow the last updated mapped notification channel configuration, ensuring users receive alerts only through the channels configured for that event (e.g., Slack, Teams, Email).

As it is now, any time an article or section is modified the user gets an email notification. This could get very noisy quickly and cause users to unsubscribe. I'd like to be able to manually set articles or sections as "To notify" so we can decide when users should get an email. What I have in mind is similar to the Status indicator feature where even if I have that feature disabled in general settings, I can turn on that indicator for a particular article in the Article settings > More article options.

1) Improve assignee notifications to include the due date and custom messages, as these details are currently not included. 2) Provide better control over workflow status notifications, as currently users receive notifications only when workflow toggles are enabled with admin email IDs. There should be an option to enable notifications for assignees without requiring admin email IDs or adding them to the email channel. 3) Ensure notifications are triggered when a username is mentioned in the workflow change comment box

At this time, when a user is assigned to a workflow or mentioned in the workflow assignment message, they do not receive an email even though they were mentioned in the workflow status. Mentioned users should receive an email notification. Thank you.

When a user clicks on a feedback assignment link without logging in, after successful login they are redirected to the specific page (not the dashboard).

When a user is assigned to any workflow or mentioned in the workflow assignment message, they should receive an email irrespective of enabling the 'Article workflow assignee updated' notification event.

We need to know when a review reminder is coming up for a published article. We want the author (or chosen assignee) to receive an email informing them that it is time to review an existing, published article.

In the notification feature, it would be better if the notifications mentioned the changes made to the article content whenever there is an update made to the article. Or else, it would be helpful if there are other ways to customize the notification email content so that the project admin can customize it based on their requirement.

This request was raised on behalf of Benny It would be helpful for us if we have a check-box to disable the notification triggered for the article publish event in the article publish confirmation message. We would like to disable the notifications because we would be reviewing the articles and sometimes we would be adding more contents/making changes to the existing contents and we wouldn't like to send notifications when we publish the articles. Readers added to a specific workspace should get notified whenever a new article is published.
