Emails are not triggered when users are mentioned while updating the workflow status

At this time, when a user is assigned to a workflow or mentioned in the workflow assignment message, they do not receive an email even though they were mentioned in the workflow status.
Mentioned users should receive an email notification. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention on behalf of Elaine.
Currently, email notifications will be triggered for workflow assignments once the “Workflow Assignee Updated” option is enabled in the Notification Mapping settings. This ensures that assigned users receive an email when they are added to a workflow.
However, notifications for user mentions within the workflow assignment message are not applied at the moment. We will review this behavior and evaluate adding support for mention-based email notifications in a future improvement.
We appreciate you highlighting this scenario, as it helps us identify opportunities to enhance the workflow notification experience.
