Feature Request

Raising this request on behalf of the customer. Currently, when an article contains a glossary and a user searches for a term that exists within the glossary definition, the entire glossary definition appears in the search results. However, when the user clicks on the result, no content is highlighted in the article. Expected Behavior: Glossary content should not be indexed or appear in the search results definition.

Currently, the Document360 Glossary list page on KB site categorizes all non-ASCII characters (such as Umlauts Ä, Ö, Ü) under the “#” section. This results in glossary terms beginning with Umlauts being grouped incorrectly and not easily discoverable for end-users. To improve usability, glossary terms with Umlauts should be recognized as distinct alphabetical entries and displayed under their corresponding letter categories instead of being grouped under “#”. For example: Glossary terms beginning with Ä should be grouped under Ä Glossary terms beginning with Ö should be grouped under Ö Glossary terms beginning with Ü should be grouped under Ü This enhancement will ensure that international users, particularly German-speaking customers, can browse glossary entries more intuitively.

When editing or deleting content from a previous line, the highlight for the glossary term shifts from its original position. Although the glossary recommendations appear for suitable words, the highlight does not remain static as new words are added to the paragraph.

Include snippets in the glossary so that we can make changes in only one place.

Often a glossary term is used in both singular and plural in texts. However, I do not want to create multiple glossary terms but rather combine them all into one. For example: if I create "API" as glossary term and then use "There are multiple APIs..." in my posts, I have to create "APIs" as seperate term with the same description as used for "API". It would be great to have multiple terms for "one term" - maye separated with semicolons.

It would be great if we could provide an option to edit the glossary name after it's creation. Currently, we are not providing the ability for the users to edit the glossary name.

Have the ability to define a definition in each languages for a same glossary entry. This is most valid for acronyms that are standards in an industry.

I'd like to add the link to our Glossary to the list left TOC like it is another article, but I'm not finding that option anywhere. It would be nice to have that option to clear up space in the header, since I don't think it will be as needed as other links. Thanks!

We need the ability to add categories of Glossary terms, so one word can have multiple glossary definitions depending on the subject.

Currently it's hard to get a good idea of which articles the glossary term is included in.
