Feature Request

Customer would like to have the following feature: In the Categories and Articles left side pane of the KB site, categories with many articles currently appear stretched due to listing all articles. To improve layout and usability, display only the first 10 articles by default. If there are more, show a “More...” button to reveal the rest. Optionally, allow toggling back with a “Show Less” option.

We need to have status indicators within an article to show if a particular section within an article is New, Updated or Revised.

This request was raised on behalf of Vaishnavi At this time, FAQs are created as H3 headings, when we view it on the site, the FAQ shown under H2 heading in the table of contents. However, we would like to show them as a separate heading in the table of contents. Thank you.

Our company will be very likely be canceling our subscription and switching to another provider if we cannot gain the basic ability to alphabetize our content within the database. It's a feature that 100% of users need, and you're focusing on things like API updates that don't matter to us. We need our clients to be able to locate our help articles quickly and easily, to relieve stress on our Help Desk, and Docs360 is failing at providing this basic functionality for us and our customers. I've already notified our president that I will be researching alternatives, and looking into pricing plans from your competitors.

Currently, if the "Export to PDF" option is enabled, in the user website users has to click three dots and then click the "Export PDF" option. It would be great if we could add it as a direct clickable button if that is the only feature enabled within more option (similar to site 1.0)

The customer has requested that the sub-headings in the TOC section remain collapsed by default. We understand that we previously received a requirement to do the opposite—i.e., to have the TOC sub-items expanded—which led to our recent implementation. In light of these differing needs, we suggest implementing a toggle option that allows users to choose whether TOC headings are expanded or collapsed by default, based on their preference or requirement.

A native commenting system would be really good, as Disqus isn't very appropriate for private knowledge bases, nor are 3rd party plugins. I want readers to be able to comment without a second login, as they are already logged in to the private knowledge base.

We would like to create a community forum in Document360 where when an user searches for an article via keyword and if the available article with the keyword is not present, it should be created as a forum and the other person who knows the answer for the question will comment in the community forum and it should also appear in the Search results next time when some users searches using the similar keywords.

We have quite a number of training articles that are powerpoint presentations that we would like to import into a document in some form of player or embedded so the user just clicks play and presentation mode starts for the document, and they should be able to click or press an arrow to progress through the presentation. At the moment we have word, word and picture and video training articles all in Document360, for the PowerPoints all we can do is upload a file for a user to then download, which to be honest is easier to tell them go to document360 for some and go to SharePoint for others. We really need to keep all of our documentation in one place and this would be the missing piece.

Add feature to have the article description show in the published article as a subheading.
