Feature Request

A customer has requested the ability to apply conditions to specific sections or blocks of text within a snippet, rather than only at the entire snippet level. Currently, conditions can only be applied to the full snippet, which limits flexibility and requires maintaining multiple snippets for small variations. Enabling conditional logic within portions of a snippet would improve usability and content management efficiency.

When working with a large number of snippets, the system currently redirects users back to page 1 after editing, updating, or translating a snippet from subsequent pages (e.g., page 2 or 3). This disrupts workflows, especially when processing multiple snippets sequentially. It would be helpful if the platform retained the user’s current page position and sorting preference after saving changes, allowing users to continue working without needing to navigate back to the original page.

When I work with snippets, I have 2 browser tabs open - one for the article and one for the snippets. It's a limitation that snippets can only be managed from the Snippets feature where you lose your working context. Instead, I want to be able to 1) highlight text and have a "Create snippet" option and 2) have an "Edit snippet" option both attached to the snippet and in the selection box after typing /snippet.

I want to be able to search all our snippets by containing text, not just title. I just had the case where I needed to change the wording in a few snippets, but I had to manually identify every single one where the wording needed to be changed.

It would be great if we have the option to edit and change the language of the snippet once it is created. If a snippet is mistakenly created in global and If I want to have it specific to "English" language, we should be able to change it.

It would be nice if snippets weren't a forced paragraph block element, and could thus be used inline.

With hundreds of snippets to have to scroll through it would be very handy if on the snippet page you can make folders and move snippets to and from folders, it would be a lot better to have say a page of 5-20 folder to easily find the snippet(s) you want than to scroll through hundreds of them, especially as there is no search bar on the snippets page either!

We use a lot of snippets and it is inconvenient that we are unable to rename a snippet. I would like to have the option to rename a snippet or create a second copy of an existing snippet. It is time consuming to create a new snippet and delete the existing one when all I need to do is rename it.

We use snippets for small sets of instructions that are included throughout our documentation. I'd like to be able to include variables such as buttons and field labels within the snippets.

Please release a revision history feature for snippets in the same way that documents have a revision history. I have been asked multiple times lately for information that was in an older version of a document, unfortunately our SOPs are created with nothing but snippets, so I have no way to find out what the old data was at this point.
