Hi All - Readers can now subscribe to receive email notifications for specific categories or articles they choose to follow. This ensures readers stay informed about new articles and updates to existing content, enhancing engagement and overall experience. To learn more about this feature, please visit - https://docs.document360.com/help/docs/follow-articles-and-categories.
Note: This feature is applicable only for Private projects and its articles.
For your information (FYI) - This feature is available exclusively in KB Site 2.0, which is accessible for projects created after June 10th. We're working on migration plans for existing customers and will communicate them soon.
Kindly check and let us know if this request can be closed.

This was a feature of our previous Zendesk knowledge base that our users really loved, and are missing it here in Document360.

Shakeer Hussain S Is there an ETA when this might be available? We have users eager for this feature.

Hi Caroline - We're currently developing a feature for our private projects where readers can subscribe to specific articles. Once subscribed, they'll receive notifications about any updates or changes to that article. However, for public projects, due to the anonymity of users, tracking and notifying them about updates becomes more challenging. Nonetheless, we're exploring alternative solutions to meet this need. We appreciate your feedback and will keep you informed on our progress.

Shakeer Hussain S: Hi
In order to meet my need, I would like to suggest that
our scenario is that people who are customers will be "reader"s both for the private and the public sections of our documentation site.
so-
if someone is "logged in" as a "reader"
then they will also be able to subscribe to articles on the "public" project when they are logged in.
what do you think?
