Change articles to Category - Page

Hi!
Would be great to be able to change an article (after it's been created and published) to a Category with the type Page. If we want to add information but don't want to add it to the article itself it could be necessary to create a new article within the category. Now we would have to create the new category, copy paste all info from the article into the new category and remove the article. This is not very efficient.

Thank you for the insightful feedback.
The current process of converting an article into a category (Page type) involves unnecessary manual steps and isn't optimal for content restructuring. We recognize the need for a more seamless experience in such scenarios, especially when reorganizing or expanding documentation.
The good news is that the design for this enhancement has already been completed. However, due to higher-priority roadmap items, it is currently in our backlog. We do plan to revisit this once capacity frees up, as we understand the productivity and UX benefits this feature can bring.
We truly appreciate your patience and will keep you posted on any progress.

Also the ability to make a category into a page would be useful! If a category to be converted has sub-articles, I would want those to remain at the same level as the converted article (rather than being deleted when the parent category is converted to an article).
