When creating an article from the + button, make it so that the slug matches the article names and the folder that it is in, which makes it easier for search, instead of having us manually edit the slug for each new article.

I would like for the article slug and metadata to be changed automatically when I move a folder/article to another folder instead of having to manually change it myself. Thanks.

It's great that it automatic create the slug when we create a new article. Could it automatic update its slug when there's change on title?

When we change the title of the article, the URL should be automatically updated based on that Change. for e.g. when we select a template and create the article, the URL is still created based on the template name and we need to manually update the URL.

Django has done this well: https://pythonhosted.org/django-autoslug/fields.html

Obsidian Planarian Thanks for your time and feedback. We understand for the very first time slug value is created based on the article title provided by the user, and the meta-data (SEO Title) also will be the same. There is no change in article slug, SEO title when the artice title is renamed by the user again. We will have this in our radar for the roadmap.
However we do not consider the category / folder names for this updates. Would like to know know the reason why having category names appended is required ? There may be scenarios where category / sub-category names might be the same. Slug values are unique and appending them might cause confusion if the names provided are duplicate.
. Kindly let us know for more details. Thank you

For us - having the slug match the folder is not a good feature - as being able to easily move things without being dependant on the folder is a feature of Document360, therefore if this is implemented, it should be a configurable

I wonder about the case when we want to either move a set of articles under a different category or simply change the category name. What happens to the slugs? This can get complicated under refactoring.

Obsidian Planarian at the moment, when user creates new article, article slug matches along the article name, however we do not consider the category value for the slug value. We would like to understand scenario for this requests, because there are possibilities where users can be able to create multiple categories with same name. By this case, if we allow such influence to leverage the category value for the article slug, this causes confusion to the users while performing search.

Magnificent Grasshopper: I am using multiple articles with the same name, but each category is different.
