What's New: New or Updated - Why Not Both
backlog
Stuart Bierig
An Article's New and Updated status\dates should be tracked separately.
If an article was created within the past 7 days and also edited within that same period, the article should be included in both New\Updated filters, not just the Updated filter. See attached - this only shows up as an Updated Article.

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for sharing this feedback regarding the New and Updated article filters.
Currently, if an article is both newly created and updated within the same period, it is tracked under the Updated filter only. Your suggestion to include such articles under both filters makes sense from a visibility standpoint.
Just to clarify - why was the 7-day threshold chosen in your use case? Are you aligning this with a specific content review cycle or internal SLA?
Understanding the rationale behind the timeframe will help us evaluate the enhancement request more effectively.

Mohamed Shakheen, I used the 7-day range as an example. The What's New capability gives you 24 hours, 7-day and 30-day filters. So, let's say I wanted to see anything new that was added to the KB in the past week....

Stuart:
Thank you for your valuable feedback and for providing additional context around the time range options.
We appreciate your suggestion to include articles that are both new and updated in both filters. At this stage, we keep this request in our backlog while we review its feasibility and impact. We’ll be evaluating this further and will keep you updated on any progress or changes.
If you have any further details or use cases that would help prioritize this, please feel free to share them.
Thank you again for helping to make our product better.
