Unlock article when the browser is closed

The tool seems to keep an article locked even after the browser is closed. Doesn't make much sense. The author will need to login again and unlock... or ask the reviewer to wait for 15 minutes.

Hi,
I'm totally onboard with this request. It's counter-intuitive that articles remian locked when you close browser. Thank you!
Bob Dzimbowski
It's not just a matter of closing the browser. It is also very problematic because when the user leaves the article, they think they are releasing the lock because they have left the UI for the record. However, you hang on to the lock. If a user is no longer in the UI for the record, then what is the point of keeping it locked? They have left the record so they cannot affect it anyways.

Hi Nibu, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the 15-minute lock on articles affecting your workflow. Our team is actively exploring technical solutions, including the possibility of allowing the application to remain unlocked during article access or identifying an alternative resolution to streamline this process.
We will keep you posted with the updates. Your understanding and patience in this matter are greatly appreciated.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman: In the meantime, consider reducing the lock out time.
