Tracking previous article's Order/position
backlog
Kesavan M
Currently, we are unable to determine the previous order or position of an article within a category if it has been accidentally moved. If an editor mistakenly moved an article, it becomes challenging to identify its previous or recent placement to restore it.
It would be great to have a way to track the most recent position of an article within the category.

Hi Kesavan, Thanks for sharing the feedback on behalf of customer.
To ensure we fully understand your request, are you looking for a feature that logs and allows you to view the previous positions of articles within a category, so that editors can easily restore them if they are moved by mistake?

Mohamed Shakheen Yes something along these lines. "OK, someone accidentally moved an article. Who moved it and where was it before? As N extension - same concept for categories....Thanks.
Mohamed Shakheen
Stephen Kairys: Thanks for the reply.
We will assess this use case and, based on customer traction, we will consider incorporating it into our future roadmap.

Mohamed Shakheen Yes, I sometimes find that an article vanished, someone accidentally put it in a category, but I do not remember where it was before.
Or something is moved up or down. (maybe a little tree diagram can be attached to an article to show the article above and below it?)
Stephen Kairys
Kesavan M- Most recent or historical? How do you envision this being tracked?

Hi Stephen Kairys
