Temporary Contributor License Overage (Grace Period)

The customer requested the ability to temporarily exceed their licensed contributor limit without being blocked from adding new contributors. Their use case is to avoid delays in onboarding new team members when they have reached their contributor license cap. They suggested a temporary overage/grace period or true-up licensing model, similar to what they have experienced with other software vendors, where additional contributors can be added immediately and the licensing can be reconciled later. This would provide greater operational flexibility while ensuring business continuity during periods of team growth or organizational changes.

Hi Awake Ant
Thank you for sharing this enhancement request. We understand the need for greater flexibility when onboarding new contributors, especially in situations where reaching the licensed contributor limit could delay business operations.
We'll review this request internally and evaluate the feasibility of supporting options such as a temporary grace period or a true-up licensing model. Once we've completed our assessment, we'll update you on our findings and any potential next steps.
