Tabs for multiple programming languages in codeblocks
under review
Brian Le
It would be nice to be able to provide multiple languages in a codeblock and have them appear on separate tabs. For example, one codeblock has a tab for Python, a tab for Go, and a tab for Java that all show the same example. Users can click on the tab to show the example that they're interested in.

Any update on this? Currently I've had to use very complicated HTML code to implement this and having to make updates is a nightmare. This is quite an essential feature.

Tabs for code for different programming languages or layouts is absolutely essential! a real deal breaker.

Is there an ETA on this request?

+1 to this request! Even the developers in my organization are asking for this, because they see the value of it. Attaching an example of how Google does it here: https://cloud.google.com/dataflow/docs/samples/dataflow-v1beta3-generated-JobsV1Beta3-CreateJob-sync#dataflow_v1beta3_generated_JobsV1Beta3_CreateJob_sync-csharp

Tabs in general will be great.

Absolutely a must-have.

This is an absolute important requirement. Gitbook and other tools give this out-of-box. This feature helps immensely in user experience by avoiding to scroll long pages. Tabs should be available for any content, not just code. Especially with documenting UI product which themselves have tabs, its a pain to document them on separate page or create multiple headings for documenting the UI tabs.

Any chance to prioritize this item? It was created a very long time ago. I keep receiving this request a lot. Honestly, it is not the best experience to make users scroll down the page for each language. Marshal Ebinezar

nur: We understand your request and have included it in our upcoming roadmap, which we will update once the implementation is complete.

Marshal Ebinezar: Thank you for your reply. Hoping to see this feature out soon!

This is a VERY desirable feature. We will absolutely need this.
Clearly, Doc360 teams have figured out at least one approach to this, as demonstrated in the attached GIF.
Specific requirement.... Not just tabbed code blocks, but tabbed ANYTHING. We need a Markdown syntax (similar to how you do admonitions) that can create a generic block container with multiple tabs. We should be able to put ANY markdown content in each tab's corresponding section.
Again, you've already figured this out for one of your clients? That's what the attached GIF would imply.
