Table of Contents in Editor

Is is possible to add a Table of Contents in the WYSIWYG Editor?
This will limit the scrolling needed to be done in the editor when editing larger articles. It will also allow contributors to see the table of contents without previewing it on the KB site itself.

ability to view TOC in edit mode
Katherine Armstrong
When editing, i'd like an easy way to view all the headings I have on my page - if the TOC is enabled for the published view, I want to have the same in edit mode so i can easily switch between sections of a long page.

Give an option to preview your TOC before publishing it
gagan dw
today there is no way to preview your TOC changes before publishing it to world or create different versions of TOC to play around and test what would be best for your content.
gagan dw
Users have no option to test TOC changes, anything i change is live in TOC.

Hi gagan dw
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Could you please elaborate more on this request?
Stephen Kairys
Mohamed Shakheen: Are you aware you can click VIEW PR$EVIEW when in EDIT mode? You'll see the TOC there.
gagan dw
Stephen Kairys: I want to play around with the TOC and create a version B to see it would work better than version A that is published.
I know i can preview articles, but I want to do play around with alternate TOC without touching the live site, which is not possible today.
Stephen Kairys
gagan dw: In that case, I'll defer to the experts at Doc360 Support. Best of luck.
