Table of contents and anchor links
complete
Adam Minich
Currently, one has to enable the table of contents to show which of the headings are shown in the table of contents for an article. However, by only turning on heading 2 for the table of contents it breaks the ability to create anchor links within an article. Video here: https://share.support.airtable.com/Z4uDZ8L5

Hi Adam Minich, First of all, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for providing the video recording of the issue. From the recording, I understand that when all three heading tags are enabled, the TOC appears cluttered, but without them, the anchor links don’t work. I believe this has now been fixed—you can disable H3 or H4 from the TOC while still using these tags for anchor links within the article to direct users.
This should resolve your issue, so I’ll go ahead and close this request. Once again, thank you for your feedback! If you still notice any open issues, please feel free to reach out.

I would also like to include an ask for the ability to change the TOC depth per article as opposed to for the entire workspace.

Adam Minich thanks for lot your feedback. We will have this validated and keep you posted about our updates on this. A quick confirmation to ensure that we are in same page is - irrespective of TOC values (H2,H3,H4) enabled / disabled the anchor links within the content should be working fine.
