Table Cells - Paste As Plain Text
complete

There is an option to 'Past as plain text' in an article body. This enables users to copy chunks of text from other sources like another Word document, website, etc. This feature provides the user to paste it in the Doc360 style being used for font family, size, weight etc. This eliminates the intermediate need to paste on a notepad and then copy from there to Doc360. This is a really good feature to have.
However, I just noticed this feature is not available when I try to copy a chunk of text and paste it on to a table cell. If this is available, please point it out to me.
If not available, please take this a feature request and provide it at the earliest.

Paste as Plain text in table in new Adv WYSYWIG editor

New editor, in a table, we need to add text sent to us in a specific format, the best way to do this is by right click and paste as plain text. This option is not available in tables.

Cannot "Paste as Plain Text" into table in Advanced WYSIWYG Editor
Sunil Panchal
It is not possible to access the browser's "Paste as Plain Text" menu option when you right-click in a table. This means that the text that I paste into the table brings formatting with it, and does not use the default page font.
But, I want the text to be pasted "clean". The browser's "Paste as Plain Text" menu option is available when I am not in a table, but not available when I am in a table.
I understand that I can paste the content, then click Clear.
I am using Microsoft Edge.

Hi Sunil, thanks for reaching out. We are aware that displaying a pop-up function to clean/keep your copied content before pasting it to the edit page will be helpful for you.
But for pasting as plain text, you can provide "ctrl+shift+v" as a keyboard shortcut key to paste the copied content as plain text to the table and to the edit page as well.
You can expect the pop-up function to paste the content as plain text will be aligned in our future release. We will keep you posted on the updates. Your patience and understanding are appreciated. Thanks for your valuable time.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman: I think the feature of pasting plain text would also help in 'normal' text blocks. I noticed that when pasting text from Word into Doc360 the format in the editor did not always apply and the original Word formatting had been copied along

Hilde Verweire: Thanks for the response. We will prioritize this issue in our forthcoming sprint. While pasting a pop-up will be displayed to keep the format or clean up. We hope this will resolve your issue. This function has been prioritized for the Q1 2024. We will keep you posted on the same.
Your understanding and patience are appreciated. Thanks for your valuable time.
