Currently, the review reminder / stale content notification feature only notifies the users who are added as users in Document360. There's no way to direct a review reminder to notify someone who is not a registered Document360 user.
Use Case:
We publish reference content (e.g., a facility contact list) that must be verified periodically (every 6 months) by subject-matter experts (SMEs) in the field — and they don't have access to Document360 as portal users. These SMEs are not the tech writers who authored/published the article, so the current default notification recipients are the wrong audience. The customer needs to:
  1. Schedule a review reminder for a set interval (e.g., 6 months after publish).
  2. Send that reminder to specific external email addresses, not just portal users.
  3. Maintain a log showing the reminder was sent and whether/when a response was received, for audit purposes.
