Support Dynamic Article Properties in recently updated article's widget
Ramesh Lokesh
Customers would like to create custom homepage sections that dynamically display recently updated articles along with additional article metadata such as assigned tags.
For example:
Display the 5 most recently updated articles
Show the first assigned tag for each article
Use the tag to identify which workspace or product the article/release note belongs to
This is especially useful for customers managing multiple workspaces and wanting to consolidate release notes or updates into a single homepage view.
The existing “Recently Updated Articles” widget does not support displaying article tags or custom article properties. And it is not feasible to fetch the tags dynamically fpr each article and display it in the recently updated articles widget.

Hi Flamingo pink Porcupine ,Ramesh Lokesh,
Thank you for sharing this requirement.
To better understand the expected experience and evaluate the feasibility, could you please clarify a few points?
-Is the goal primarily to create a centralized release notes/updates section across multiple workspaces?
-Are the tags being used specifically to identify:
-Product/workspace ownership
-Release types
-Teams/modules
-Or other metadata?
-Would you expect:
-Only the first assigned tag to be displayed, or
Multiple tags/custom properties?
-Should this section support:
-Filtering by workspace/tag
-Sorting options
-Custom layouts/cards?
-Is the expectation to:
-Extend the existing Recently Updated Articles widget, or
-Create a completely custom homepage section/widget?
-How would this improve the experience for end users?
-Easier identification of relevant product updates?
-Better discoverability of release notes?
-Reduced navigation across multiple workspaces?
This will help us better evaluate the requirement and understand the intended user workflow.
