Specifying Workspace - Content Reuse

Max P
When creating Variables and Snippets, an individual language can be selected through a dropdown.
For more flexibility, it would be nice if a Workspace could be specified as well (along with a Global option).

Max P these content reuse items are at the project level, where any workspace can access the relevant items - snippets, variables & glossary and leverage the respective items in the content. Limiting at the workspace might create duplicates for the same terms at the entire project level.
Share your thoughts on the same. Thanks for taking your time and effort to write us.

Thiru: The language dropdown for content reuse items has an "All" option which is selected by default. A workspace dropdown could have this as well. For example, the workspace dropdown would have the options "All" (selected by default), "Workspace 1", "Workspace 2".
For example:
"Thank you {{snippet.support}} for reviewing my request!"
Would render as "Thank you Document360 for reviewing my request!" in Workspace 1.
And "Thank you Thiru for reviewing my request!" in Workspace 2.
Whereas any snippets set to "all" would have the current behaviour; rendering the same value in Workspace 1 and Workspace 2.
----------------------------
There are two use cases for this.
1) Based on feedback left by others, I know there are other organizations who have a copy of the same article in multiple workspaces. Currently, if there are small changes I want to make to an article I'm copying from another workspace, I have to make the changes manually. If I use the content reuse feature, I still have to make two snippets. However, I also need to change each snippet/variable manually, or use find and replace.
For me, each copy of the article usually requires the same changes. I can not use global find and replace as the grammar of these changes depends on the context. This becomes very complicated when there are multiple articles receiving multiple updates. It would be nice to be able to copy and paste these and be done with them. With content reuse content with a selectable workspace, this could be done more efficiently.
2) Content reuse content that should have a certain name based on its content, but can't have that name due to it existing in another workspace. This makes naming snippets more difficult, and requires naming the snippet something longer, or more arbitrary.
For example:
Currently, if you have a variable named {{variable.support-link}} but require different support links in each workspace, you would then have to name the variable something different.
You could name it {{variable.supportLink}}, however, you may get the two variables confused.
You could name it {{variable.support-link-workspace1}}, which is probably longer than the value of the variable, somewhat defeating the purpose of content reuse.
Thank you!
