Sort Tags Alphabetically in Tag Selection Dropdown and Tag Manager

Currently, tags are displayed based on creation order instead of alphabetical order in both the article settings tag selection dropdown and Manage tags section. The customer would like tags to be sorted alphabetically to improve usability, especially for new users and larger teams managing a high number of tags. This enhancement would make it easier for users to quickly identify and select the required tags without manually searching through randomly ordered entries.

We understand that tags are currently displayed based on their creation order in both the article settings tag selection dropdown and the Manage Tags section. As the number of tags grows, locating a specific tag can become time-consuming, particularly for new users and larger teams.
Sorting tags alphabetically would improve discoverability and make tag management more efficient by allowing users to quickly find and select the required tags. We have reviewed the request and agree that this enhancement would provide a better user experience. The suggestion has been added to our backlog for further evaluation and prioritization as part of future usability improvements.
