Scheduled publishing for category index pages

Extend the "Schedule Publish" functionality to Category Index pages. Currently, while individual articles can be scheduled, Category Index pages must be updated manually.
When preparing for a product release, we sometimes need to rename Index (landing) pages to reflect new branding or features. Since these changes cannot be scheduled, documentation teams must manually perform these updates at the exact moment of release to avoid "spoiling" the announcement or having mismatched navigation.
Proposed Solution:
Add the Schedule Publish icon/utility to the Category Index editor, allowing users to schedule changes to the Category Name.

Hi Wisteria Prawn
Thank you for outlining this use case so clearly - especially for teams coordinating documentation updates with time-sensitive product releases.
We understand the operational friction caused by the inability to schedule updates on Category Index pages, particularly when it comes to maintaining alignment between navigation structure and release announcements. The need to manually intervene at the time of launch is not scalable and introduces avoidable risk.
Your proposed approach to extend the Schedule Publish capability to the Category Index editor, including support for scheduling Category Name updates, is well-aligned with improving release orchestration and content governance.
At this stage, we will keep this enhancement under review as part of our broader roadmap evaluation. We’ll assess its impact alongside similar scheduling and workflow improvements to ensure a cohesive experience across content types.
We appreciate you bringing this forward - this is valuable input, and we’ll share updates as we make progress.
