It would be very useful to be able to specify an RSS URL for a SPECIFIC ARTICLE. For example, we have almost 500 articles, but one of them is for release notes. It would be nice if that one article had its own RSS feed, so people could subscribe to that article's RSS and only get RSS updates when there is an update to release notes.
This would be separate from the current KB-wide RSS URL can can be implemented in the site's navigation. This is easier: create the ability to capture the RSS feed as part of an article's ARTICLE SETTINGS. From there, we have the option to make that RSS feed public or not.
First step does not even require a navigation item to be built. All I need is for the article settings to generate the optional RSS feed URL. Once I have the RSS URL I can put a smart bar at the top of that article with a link to the RSS feed. Or I could simply add a note at the top of the article.
This feature would enable users to selectively publish RSS feeds for just the articles or categories that they want to make public.
