Review Process Needs a Simpler Path to Approval

The review process is harder to use than it needs to be. Reviewers can't approve an article from within the article, and authors can't easily see who has reviewed it.
---
When a reviewer finishes reviewing an article, they have to leave it, go to the dashboard, find the task, and mark it as done. Approval should happen where the review happens.
For authors, the only way to see review status is to click the "In review" button and then click the assignee's profile icon. Nothing indicates that icon holds review status. When we tested this internally, no one figured it out on their own.
I'd like the ability for reviewers approve changes directly from the article, and have that automatically complete their dashboard task. Show the assigned reviewers and their status right on the article so authors can see at a glance who has reviewed and approved.
GitHub's pull request reviews are a good model here: you can clearly see who's assigned, what they commented, and who has approved, all in one place.
