Reduce Table of Contents Line Spacing in PDF Exports
N
Nilesh Kirti
With the migration to Aspose for PDF generation, the Table of Contents now has wider line spacing, making it less compact and reducing readability, particularly for larger documents. A narrower line spacing would improve readability, make better use of space, and provide a cleaner, more organized layout. It would be beneficial to reduce the spacing or provide an option to configure the Table of Contents line spacing based on user preference.

Improve PDF Export Reliability and Formatting Accuracy

Improve the PDF export experience by addressing formatting inconsistencies, particularly with complex tables and large documents. PDF exports should accurately reflect the content displayed in the Knowledge Base and remain reliable even when multiple or large export requests are generated.

Hi Symbolic Hornet , Nilesh Kirti,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
To better understand the requirement, could you please clarify your expectation?
Could you share a sample PDF or screenshot highlighting the current Table of Contents spacing and the desired layout?
Are you looking for reduced line spacing by default, or would you prefer a configurable option to adjust the TOC line spacing?
If configurable, would you expect this setting to apply at the PDF template level or per export?
This will help us better understand the expected formatting and evaluate the most appropriate solution.

Hi Kavya,
Thanks for looking into the matter of diminishing white spaces in PDF exports.
Configurable options on a PDF export template basis is sufficient.
The built in layout was OK prior to your migration to Aspose for PDF generation.
For an acceptable line space in a table of content, please see https://support.document360.com/helpdesk/attachments/1171155777.
