Promote Reader to Team Member (and reverse) w/o deleting user acct
complete

Its odd to me i don't have a way to promote a user from a reader to a team member (and the reverse). As of now, it appears my only option is to delete the reader account and re-issue as a team member. Would it be possible to just have all user accounts in a single bucket with the ability to select their rights (and toggle them as the role of the user changes)?

We also need the ability to change an SSO team account user to a regular logged-in user. Currently, we'd have to delete the SSO user and the team account but would lose all the Contributor associations.

We are starting to scale and it's a very tedious process to remove the reader account, then re-add them as a team account. We could save a lot of time by being able to convert a reader to a team account.

Add ability to change reader accounts to editor accounts

It would be useful if we could upgrade or downgrade account permissions. For example, sometimes we will need to change a user's reader account to an editor account, or vice versa. This means deleting their current account and creating a new one, resulting in a new welcome email and the user needing to set a new password. This is a poor user experience, and it would be much better if we could upgrade or downgrade their existing account as required.

Liam Tanner Caroline Tabach thanks for your feedbacks, and we do have vice versa scenario to be addressed as well. We will have this in our analysis and take it forward after initial launches of the 2.0 portal.
Appreciate your understanding and effort to write back to us.
