Portal Search filters

I have to select Articles each time I use the Search bar to look for an article, which is the common case for me. It would be great if the search filter is saved.
For example, each time I search, I need to filter by Published or Draft status. It would be great if we have an option to save the filter so next time I can directly select the filter and search for the content.
Thank you.

Hi Karthikeyan
Thank you for sharing this valuable feedback.
We understand the need to improve the search experience by allowing users to
persist search filters
, select multiple status filters (e.g., Draft and Published)
, and save commonly used filtered views
for quick access. These enhancements would streamline the authoring workflow and reduce repetitive actions when searching for specific article sets. We’ve captured this as a
search usability enhancement
and will evaluate its feasibility and design scope
— including options for persisting user preferences and enabling multi-select filters. Once validated, we’ll prioritize it based on customer traction and overall impact on productivity.D

Thanks! Just adding directly my comments from the ticket:
- Can the search filter be persisted? I have to select Articles each time I use the Search bar to look for an article, which is the common case for me.
- Can you add an option to be able to select multiple Status filters in the Search, for example, both Draft and Published?
- Can you add an option for saving filtered views? For example, each time I search, I need to filter by Published or Draft status. Can I save the filter settings and just access them the next time I use the search?
