Provide an option to ignore specific content within articles when exported as PDF, HTML or any supported export format. That is, provide an option to enable users to mark or tag sections of an article that should be excluded during export.
Benefits
- Improves flexibility and control over exported content.
- Helps users tailor export formats for different audiences or purposes.
- Reduces unnecessary content, making exported documents more concise and relevant.

Hi 1fbb400a-f5d6-469e-8690-7463d6f54575,
Thanks for the suggestion — this is a really thoughtful idea and aligns well with improving flexibility in our export options.
To help us understand the requirement better and explore the right approach, could you please share a bit more detail on the following?
-Could you share a few examples of the type of content you’d typically want to exclude — for instance, internal notes, drafts, developer-only instructions, or customer-specific details?
-Would you prefer excluding content at the article level or at the section level within an article?
-How would you like to mark such content — using a tag, a toggle in the editor, or through category assignment?
-Would you like the exclusion to be automatic or a manual choice before export?
-Are there any existing workarounds your team currently uses (like separate categories, draft copies, or notes) to handle this need?
Your inputs will help us evaluate the best way to implement this enhancement.
