Option to Display Article Attachments at the Bottom of Articles

Customer would like the ability to display article attachments at the bottom of the article instead of in the right-side panel.
Currently, article attachments are displayed in the right-hand panel. The customer reported that this causes two challenges. First, when the attachment panel is expanded, it reduces the available width of the article content area, which can result in embedded PDFs, images, and screenshots that are a bit big in size being partially cut off or displayed in a compressed layout. Second, when the panel is collapsed, attachments become less noticeable to readers and are often overlooked.
The customer would like a configurable option to choose the placement of article attachments, specifically allowing attachments to be displayed at the bottom of the article content area. This would improve visibility of attached files while preserving the full width available for article content and embedded media.

IMO, both Attachments and Related articles should have the option to be displayed on the right panel or below - maybe even with an article override setting for exceptions.

Hi Straightforward Planarian , Vijay Sakthivel,
Thank you for sharing this request.
We understand the requirement to provide flexibility in where article attachments are displayed. Having attachments in the right-side panel can reduce the available content width and make attachments less discoverable when the panel is collapsed.
We'll review this internally and check the feasibility of introducing a configurable option to display article attachments at the bottom of the article instead of the right-side panel. This would help preserve the full article width while improving the visibility and accessibility of attached files.
We'll share an update once we have more clarity from our evaluation.
