Option to customize the width of table cells
under review

Currently, users are unable to both fit a table to the full page width and customize the width of individual columns simultaneously. Enabling one disables the other, which limits flexibility in formatting tables. It would be helpful to support both options together so users can maintain overall table responsiveness while still controlling specific column widths.

D360 Product Management please note that this functionality is absolutely crucial for us and it's baffling that it is not working this way already
we basically always need tables with columns of different sizes and at the same time of course the tables must fit to page width
(at the moment we are using adventurous custom code for this, but our custom tables basically stop working every few months when you make updates to the "native" global table configuration)
maybe a solution could be that tables always fit to page width by default and then you can freely configure the individual column/cell size
