Option to control the page break in PDF export for table content
Ramesh Lokesh
At present, we do not have control over where page breaks occur for table content when an article is exported in PDF format. The customer is requesting an option to manage this, instead of relying on inserting visible dividers or adding extra spacing within the table to adjust the page breaks.

Hi Expected Pelican,Ramesh Lokesh,
Thank you for sharing this request.
To better understand the requirement, could you please clarify a few points around your expectation for controlling page breaks in tables?
Are you looking to manually define page break points within tables (e.g., break after a specific row)?
Should this be controlled via:
An editor option (e.g., insert page break)
Table-level settings (e.g., keep rows together, avoid splitting)
Or PDF template configuration?
Do you expect behavior such as:
Preventing a row from being split across pages
Ensuring a table starts on a new page
Controlling how long tables flow across pages?
Could you share a sample PDF or document showing the current behavior vs expected output?
This will help us clearly understand whether the requirement is around manual control, formatting rules, or layout behavior and evaluate it accordingly.
