Notify customers of breaking widget changes and support versioning

Doc360 recently released a change that broke code that was written that triggers launching the widget when clicking a custom button. When breaking changes are made that affect how widgets are displayed, customers should be notified of what changes have been made with guidance on how to update their code to accommodate the changes. There should also be some kind of versioning in place so customers have time to implement changes and refer to the latest version to avoid scrambling to fix unexpectedly broken widgets.

Hi Kelp Cougar,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand the concern around changes that impact existing widget integrations and custom implementations.
We're currently working on the availability of documentation around these changes, and the relevant documentation will be released soon. For any previously introduced widget-related changes, we recommend reaching out to your designated SPOC or support team, who can help clarify the impact and provide guidance on the required updates.
We also understand the value of having clearer communication, migration guidance, and versioning for integration-related changes, and we'll take this feedback into consideration as we continue to improve the developer experience.
