New doc version without creating new workspace
Brianne Benett
I would like to create a new version of our documentation to match the recent product release without having to purchase a new workspace. The new version of documentation would contain 2 new articles, which I don't believe this merits the purchase of an additional workspace. Our users (readers) would prefer to choose their version of the product in a drop down menu to make sure they have the correct version of the documentation.

We have multiple versions that we want published for our users at any point (look at kb.ctera.com). We use the clone option on the categories to create the new version. It works well for us, if this is what you mean.

Julian Weiss Yes, this could be a workaround, but I would prefer to have a drop-down menu where they could then choose their version.

This would allow us to have a version of the KB that is product specific but includes a lot of content from the "main" product. Similar to what is capable with Flare. We want to be able to tag content somehow and have that content in a separate version but still editable in one KB since there is a lot of shared content.
