Technical writer of my team uses your software to manage Knowledge Base. We draft content in latest web version of MS Word (Office365) and manually copy-paste the content into your software. This is time-consuming and error-prone. Many times, unnecessary Span added to the HTML codes, which makes work life terrible.
It will be helpful for the users if we have a feature that helps in real-time integration of MS word with Document360. This would help in reviews, save time and reduce errors during the DDLC process.

We are doing a similar thing using Google Docs. The other thing is to have a solution for creating nice PDF files from Document360 and commenting in Document360 and then users will be able to use the Editor for everything and not leave it.

Dhinil C A we would like to understand more about pain points and improve our Editor experience to resolve these issues. With respect to that, whole purpose of providing Editor feature is for user to leverage Editor and achieve the desired results. However like all products, we are also working hard to improve us on this area. Real-time integration with MS Word is not currently not in our scope/
Could you share the most frequent errors faced and share the same with us to improvise? Thank you.

Thiru: I am good with the editor, which satisfies the basic requirements. However, review of the content using document360 is tedious process, we still depend MS Word for content development.
- Track Edit feature of MS Word helps the reviewer and the writer to understand the changes suggested/incorporated during the review cycles. We currently, don't have this option in document360.
- I need to create PDFs for the Topics developed by the team. We know document360 have some limitation in PDF export such as customizing the cover pages, error free TOC, etc.
So, we decided to draft the content using MS word that satisfies two requirements. Currently, we are using the latest version of MS Word (i.e. part of Office365), which as the web version along with Desktop version synchronization. If your team can integrate the web version of MS Word file with Document in real-time, it will solve lot of issues that faces during the review cycles. It would also save much turnaround time. I am looking for a feature that allows the writer to migrate the approved content from MS Word to document 360 with a button click. Otherwise, after the review approval writers have to manually migrate the content to document360!

Introduction of a 'Track Change editor' (similar to MS Word) within the HTML editor of Document360, we can greatly simplify the review process. With this feature, there would be no need for additional tools, as everything can be managed within the platform itself.
With the track change editor, all stakeholders can conveniently provides edits, view the suggested modifications in real-time, and track the progress of the document. This promotes efficient communication and ensures that everyone is on the same page throughout the review process.
By centralizing the review workflow within Document360's HTML editor, team can help the end-users to streamline their document management, boost productivity, and enhance collaboration among team members. Say goodbye to the complexities of juggling multiple tools and embrace a more efficient and integrated approach to the review cycle.
