We would like to be able to manage labels exactly like tags are managed. Currently there is no option to delete a label once created. You may remove the label from the Article but not delete the label itself.

Enable label-based filtering in the Review Reminder section. Currently, only tag-based filtering is supported, while customers use labels to organize review batches. Adding label filtering would help users easily retrieve and manage articles based on their review groups. This would improve workflow efficiency and alignment with existing labeling practices.

We've tried using the Auto-deletion function by ensuring the label was removed, and it doesn't work.
I'm using labels for internal tracking of certain things, and I want to clean the data base up a bit.
I can do this for Tags, but not labels.

Can you please let us know why you would like to delete a particular label from the system. Is it because you want to avoid the accidental misuse of the same or for maintaining hygiene of your documentation portal.
Can you please let us know if you will be happy we delete the labels that are unused in any of the articles, (i.e) if we delete the labels you remove from all the dependent articles automatically.

Whole Kite - We are going to use Labels as a workaround because we are not able to get the reporting out of Document 360 that we require. When creating / assigning labels we do not want this list to grow exponentially by our User base so we wish to have more control over this.

Thank you for the response, We understand the need for having a manage page, we will try and prioritize this if the request gets traction. Please be sure that the unused labels will still be deleted automatically.
Please also detail the requirements regarding reporting so that we can evaluate the same. Can you please let us know what type of reporting are you expecting out of the box from us.

Hi Whole Kite - For reporting we would like to be able to set a reminder date for reviewing a document. In the all articles view we would like to understand what documents are coming up for a review and which ones have missed the date as a high level example for reporting (including filtering). We can set a document review reminder however, once set there is not a way to display this date. We logged another enhancement for this lack of system functionality. For auto-deletion of labels what is the criteria to delete? How often does this run? Thank-you.

The auto deletion happens if the label is unused in any of the articles. For example, If a user removes the label from all the relevant articles that the label was used, then it gets auto deleted.
