It would be great if each category had its own landing page, rather than just going to the first article in the category. That would let us describe the category in general, and then users could click on the appropriate article.

Hi Serenity blue Mollusk thanks for your patience we have introduced this feature in our latest release.

This is extremely important for our organization and is a relative show-stopper.
Why can't we repurpose the "Home Page Builder" as a "Category Builder"? This would work perfectly for category landing pages and would minimize impact to the current Article Editor features.

Ability to click on category name and have a "home page" for that category appear with maybe the top posts within that category or something relevant.

Yes! We want to use a categories landing page as a way to introduce the articles under it.

This would be great! On the mobile phone it looks like a category has only one article because the list is very hidden.

Agreed! Current functionality is "click without reward". Recommend adding a Home Page not just for main category, but also all sub-category levels.

Would be very helpful for us to. The current experience where nothing happens on clicking a category is kind of a broken one. You are in another category... and then click a new category. But the article that was open from the previous category remains open. This is also inconsistent with experiences provided by tools like Confluence. A second issue is that when you click a category on the landing page, you are taken to the first article in the category. But that may not be the one that the user may want to see. There's also no place to introduce the user to the category without a main page.
