There are many instances in Document360 where the user sees a list of articles and can click a button (a box with an arrow pointing out of it) that opens that article in the editor in a new tab.
Sometimes, this behaves as expected and the article opens in a new tab. This occurs in:
  • the Feedback interface
  • when selecting a single article from the All Articles list and clicking "View in KB" or "View Preview" at the top of the list
Elsewhere, these buttons open the article in the same tab, interrupting the workflow the user was in the middle of. This occurs in:
  • Find and Replace: the user must return to Content Tools > Find and Replace > re-enter search term and select another search result from the list)
  • Workflow Assignments: the user must return to All Articles > Workflow Assignments > Select the workflow being used > sort/filter as needed > Select the article to be worked on)
I believe these would be simple code fixes, and they would improve my experience of using this product immeasurably.
