Let Readers Export Whole Categories to PDF

Currently, readers can only export single pages. However, when we have a large user guide with multiple articles under a category, our readers want to export the whole user guide. I have been putting whole guides as attachments to category pages (although I can't seem to do it for indexes). However, our readers do not always see the attachment at the bottom. They try to select the PDF button and just get the category page.
This is a big pain point for our customers and internal readers alike, and I receive multiple requests each month for assistance with accessing PDFs of full guides.
Please add the ability for readers to export whole categories, including the articles within, to PDF.

Currently, we can download a PDF for only a single page. We need to share only PDFs for a few features. Also, the PDFs lack branding, and links in PDFs do not work. This, along with the issues with the Table of Contents, Numbering, and the lack of an offline documentation option at the category level.

Can you please let us know for what purpose are you using the PDFs. We already have a functionality where you can download the PDF at the category level. It would be really useful for us if you could suggest us the use case of PDFs in your organization so that we can suggest accordingly.

We have a lot of use cases where the information needs to be used offline - and paper based or locally downloaded pdf's is still the preferred way of having the information available. Hence this feature is highly required.

I would also request the same feature for our readers. Readers should be able to select a category and be able to download a PDF including the articles within - not just the current article visible on the site.
As an example on Microsoft portal - you are able to download PDF with multiple categories.

Thank you Anna McDonald for sharing the scenario in detail with respective to your readers' & internal folks. We will have this evaluated from our end. Meanwhile, would like to understand couple of clarifications on the same:
- Does the readers perform only with category pages ?
- While referring to the attachment, you refer to the attachments within page category or further down the articles in that page category ?
- May we also which kind of articles, such as policy info, they would like to perform this bulk export action in the KB site

- Readers who have contacted me selected the PDF button on the category expecting that the entire category would be exported. My thinking is that when the reader selects the PDF button on a category, then there should at least be an option to export the entire category. In our case, a category is typically the top page for a user guide.
- When I refer to "attachments" then yes, I mean the attachment on the page settings. It would be helpful if readers could export the entire category from the category page regardless of whether it is a page type or index.
- These are large user and admin guides.
