Leave text cursor where I place it in code view switching to WYSIWYG
complete
Rachelle Carson
I frequently have to go into the code view to adjust various things. For example, renumbering if I'm interrupting an ordered list with callouts, an unordered list, images etc (this is another pain point and I've upvoted a feature request regarding this)...
When I am in WYSIWYG and place the cursor where I want it, then switch to code view, the cursor is still in the place I want it, which is great!
The struggle is: I make my edits in code view but then when I switch back to WYSIWYG, the text cursor is up at the top of the page and I have to scroll down and search for the area I was working in.
It would be great if the cursor stayed put when I switch back so I can review the changes I just made and continue working in the same area.

Hi All - Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback regarding the editor experience when switching between WYSIWYG and code view.
We’re happy to let you know that this issue has been addressed in the Advanced WYSIWYG editor. Now, when you place your cursor or highlight content in the editor and switch to code view (or vice versa), the editor retains your exact position — allowing you to continue editing seamlessly without needing to scroll and search for your place again.
We hope this improvement makes your workflow smoother. Let us know if you experience any inconsistencies, or if there's anything else we can help with!

Definitely would be a time-saver to implement this functionality. I'd been thinking of adding such a request to this forum.
