When a user is logged in, email should be included with their feedback. Can we turn off anonymous feedback?

Hi Alice, Thank you for the detailed explanation—I understand your need. The ask is to auto-fill a logged-in user’s email, even if Notify me with updates is not enabled, so the admin knows who shared the feedback.
Additionally, for public users, the ask is to introduce a toggle for admins to restrict feedback collection from them, as such feedback is often not useful.
We will add this to our roadmap and prioritize it accordingly to ensure a more structured and effective feedback collection process. Let us know if you have any additional inputs or considerations.

Hi Alice Ingham, Could you share whether your account is private, public, or a mix of both? Would you like an option at the admin level to restrict public users from sharing feedback? If needed, we could also consider requiring users to enter their email before submitting feedback. Also, are you referring to article feedback, search feedback, or both?

D360 Product Management Our account is a mix of both private and public. No, I don't want to restrict public users from leaving feedback, I want feedback from both private and public users. I always want the email of logged in users to populate on the feedback. At the moment it only populates on the feedback if they select 'notify me about updates'. I want to know which logged in users left feedback regardless of whether they want updates on the item. This is confusing because they are logged in so why does it populate as anonymous if we know their email?
I think I raised a separate request about public users. We have been asking about toggling off anonymous feedback as an org setting because anonymous feedback (most of the time) is very useless to us. I am referring to article feedback here but I'm happy for the logic to apply to search feedback.
