Floik: Mimic exact clicking behavior

In an interactive demo, Floik interprets everything as a "single click". But that can be misleading if the user double-clicks or right-clicks in the recorded app. Therefore, it would be great if Floik could correctly interpret the exact clicking behavior and also mimic this behavior in the interactive demo, meaning that if the user double- or right-clicks in the app, they have to do the same in the demo.

Hi Kavya, thanks for following up so quickly! Yes, due to the architecture of our software, we frequently have to distinguish different clicking behaviors. But I'm not sure if it's feasible - or even a good idea - to map every possible clicking behavior to Floik. I like your suggestion that Floik somehow shows the required action - or perhaps somehow indicate that users can just single-click through the demo, even though the clicking behavior in the app is different. Thanks! Claus

Hi Claus Schittenhelm,
Thanks for sharing this! Interpreting all user actions as a single click can definitely lead to confusion when the original workflow involves double-clicks or right-clicks. Capturing and reproducing the exact click behavior in the interactive demo is an interesting idea.
-To better understand your needs, could you share a bit more about your use case?
-Are double-clicks or right-clicks common in the workflows you’re recording?
-Would you expect Floik to show the required action (e.g., “double-click here”) or simply enforce it?
-Are there any specific apps or scenarios where this behavior is especially important?
Your context will help us evaluate feasibility and explore the best way to support this.
