Find & Replace improvements
backlog
Uppili Srinivasan
We would like to request several usability improvements to the Find & Replace functionality in the Markdown editor:
- When only one match exists for a keyword, the editor does not automatically navigate to it. Users must manually scroll to locate the match. The editor should auto-scroll to the result even if there is a single match.
- Pressing Ctrl + F in the Markdown editor currently opens the editor’s Find & Replace popup instead of the browser’s default search. There should be an option to allow the browser search to function as expected.
- The Find & Replace popup sometimes blocks visibility of highlighted matches when they appear behind it. The popup should be draggable, repositioned, or transparent.
- Provide a toggle option to enable or disable the editor’s Find & Replace feature.
