Here is more context - We want to understand the usage of our knowledge base by customers and internal users. This would include the metrics found on the Articles and Search tabs of the analytics portal. I suggested reader groups because we have a process in place that assigns all internal users to an "internal" reader group. And therefore, filters by reader groups we could determine what activity is based on customers and what is based on internal. This might include the most popular articles. Changes in usage over time. Key search values, etc.

Hi Jason - Thank you for bringing up the idea of filtering by reader groups in analytic reports. To ensure we align on the best solution, could you please provide more details about your use case? Specifically:
What is the goal you are trying to achieve by filtering reports based on reader groups?
Can you provide examples of how you envision using this feature in your reports?
Which specific data or insights would you like to see for each reader group?
Are there any specific reader group behaviors or interactions you want to analyze separately?
This will help us understand your needs better and tailor the solution accordingly.
