Currently there are no API endpoints to access analytics, which is vital functionality to extend reporting functionality and integrate it the insights into other tools.

Without exposing the comments readers leave in their feedback, the new analytics endpoints introduced in v3 API are not particularly useful.

It appears that the API is working nicely for pulling analytical points by article but there is no per user data. Is this a possible data point that can be added?

One of our customers would like to export analytics data via API to integrate with a Power BI dashboard, where they combine data from multiple systems (e.g., Salesforce, tickets, platform data). Hence, the customer would like access to the Analytics via API.

Commenting again, in the hopes of expediting this. We're still waiting for this. The data we specifically want to get API access to is user email and pages visited.
