Expand and Collapse Table of Content

It'd be really helpful if there was an option to expand and collapse the table of contents included on the right side of the articles. For example, initially the Table of contents will show only the titles with marked with H2, and when we click one of those titles, the titles marked with H3 should appear. It will improve our user experience by a lot if we want to move quickly within the same article. (See https://bhn.document360.io/docs/20964)

D360 Product Management Hello - I am not seeing this feature in my site. Is there a setting that need to be enabled?

Hi All - You can now use the expand and collapse the table of contents (ToC) in the Knowledge base site to make it easier to read and navigate large documents. This feature lets you open or close sections of the TOC based on hierarchy, helping you focus on what’s important. You can also pin your most-used sections, so they stay easy to find as you browse. Please refer to the attached image.

This would be very helpful and improve the experience of our readers. Some of our TOC listings are incredibly long, so being able to look at smaller sections at a time would be a benefit.

Thiru: has there been any movement with this request? This would also be a huge benefit for our users and will keep the TOC clean and easy to read, especially for detailed user guides. Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion Javier Garcia Allan Sand we will take this for our analysis and consider as UX improvements. We will keep you posted on the updates in future.

It would be good, on first accessing the KB, the whole TOC is compressed.

Attached is what we would like to have. All H2 elements will be displayed collapsed, and once you click them, the menu will expand and the H3 elements included under it will be displayed. If another H2 element is clicked, the previous one will collapse and the new ones will be displayed.
