Enhanced Sandbox Sync: Auto-Update Links and Glossary
backlog

One of our customers highlighted the need for a smarter import/export experience between production and sandbox projects. Currently, when articles are imported, internal article links continue to point to the original production URLs, and glossary terms need to be manually re-linked in each article.
This creates significant rework when migrating large sets of articles for stakeholder review. A feature that automatically updates internal links and preserves glossary references during import/export would streamline content testing and reduce manual effort.

Hi Lior Rafalovitz, Venkatesh KG,
Thank you for bringing up this challenge. We understand that the current process of importing articles, where internal links still point to the original production URLs and glossary terms need to be manually updated, creates significant rework—especially when migrating large sets of content for stakeholder review.
However, we want to note that implementing such a feature would require a significant development effort.
We will assess the feasibility of this request and let you know once it is prioritized in our roadmap. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we’ll keep you updated on any progress.

Thanks Venkatesh for submitting this. One additional note I wanted to add is that the features to use the Reviewer account or private review link is editor/content focused, whereas we want the user to review the front-end experience and structure in addition to the content. We can't take advantage of those two capabilities because of this reason, so we have to use our Sandbox for stakeholder review which is why we're running into these challenges.
