enable/disable the search/filter options available in the Advanced Search page
backlog
Ramesh Lokesh
Currently, there is no built-in option to enable or disable the search/filter options (such as Language, Workspace, and Category) in the Advanced Search.
As a workaround, users often rely on custom CSS to hide unnecessary filters. However, this disrupts the layout of the Advanced Search section. For instance, if the Workspace and Language filters are hidden (in cases where only one workspace and language exist), it can affect the display and functionality of the Category filters. As a result, some categories may not appear correctly or may be partially hidden within the layout.
It would be highly beneficial to have a native option to enable or disable specific search/filter elements within the Advanced Search page to avoid such UI and usability issues.

Hi Nickel Reindeer, Ramesh Lokesh,
Thank you for sharing this feedback.
We understand the limitation around not being able to enable/disable specific filters (Language, Workspace, Category) in Advanced Search—especially in scenarios where only one language or workspace exists, making those filters unnecessary. We also recognize how relying on custom CSS workarounds can impact layout and usability.
We’ll take this as an improvement request and add it to our backlog. This will be evaluated based on priority, scope, and customer traction as part of future enhancements.
We’ll share updates if this gets picked up in upcoming planning cycles.

FYI, I believe they can be permanently removed via some custom CSS. Just log a support ticket.
