Domain filter - SSO Auto Registered Readers

Currently, we have the option to map the reader group according to the domains for the standard reader account. Similarly, if we have this option for SSO, it will be easier to manage readers with different content access.
Use case: I have a Mixed Knowledge Base with external customers and internal employees. The Domain filtration will help us automate this process rather than manually updating the reader level content access.

Any update on the status of this request? We have employees who need access to content that is specific to their internal division, which can easily be inferred based on their email domain. If we could assign reader groups to SSO users the same way that we can for standard accounts (based on domain), we could automate this process.

Hi George Gilbert Krishna - SSO is an ideal solution for managing access for internal users because it allows centralized authentication and seamless content access across internal systems. By using SSO, you can control permissions and access levels for internal employees efficiently.
For external users, leveraging JWT (JSON Web Tokens) is a good approach. Since external users might not be part of your internal authentication system, JWTs provide a secure, scalable way to authenticate them. JWTs can carry user information and claims, ensuring that external users can access the correct content without requiring manual updates to their access levels.
In your use case, where you have a mixed knowledge base with both external customers and internal employees, combining SSO for internal users and JWT for external users would allow you to automate the process of filtering content based on user groups. This approach would help you manage and automate access based on domains or reader groups, streamlining the process and reducing the need for manual updates.
