Anchor links for collapsible blocks
C
Concrete Swordfish
We need a way to create anchor links to specific sections or subsections that are formatted using accordion/collapsible blocks.
Here's the scenario:
On a single page, we might have several key topics laid out using Document360's collapsible blocks, like these:
- Getting Started
- Setup Guides
- Error Handling
We want to be able to reference these sections from a summary or table of contents at the top of the page. For example:
This topic describes the steps for using our product. Follow these sections in order:
- [Link to Getting Started section]
- [Link to Setup Guides section]
- [Link to Error Handling section]
The Problem:
Currently, since these topics are using collapsible blocks, we can't assign a unique ID or anchor to each block, preventing us from creating internal hyperlinks that jump directly to that specific section on the page.
TL; DR: Our users can't easily jump to a specific part of a long page if that part is a collapsible block, which hurts navigation and readability.
This feature is crucial for creating effective and user-friendly documentation.

It appears our existing project does not have access to the Block editor.

Hi Planned Tuna - Thank you for sharing this request. We have developed a BETA version of the block editor for Document360, which offers more comprehensive options, including the accordion feature. I encourage you to try it out and provide feedback on how it works for you. If you haven't enabled the Block editor in your project yet, please reach out to our support team or your dedicated customer success manager, and they will assist you in enabling it.

Shakeer Hussain S: Testing the block editor does not appear to allow the accordion content to open either.
