Delete media in Drive and keep my location in folders

When I delete media, the whole Drive refreshes and kicks me back to the root folder instead of staying on my filter, search, or within the same folder. I have multiple folders for organization and it is tedious to delete and navigate back to the same folder.

We understand how disruptive it can be when deleting media causes the Drive to refresh and navigate back to the root folder, requiring users to repeatedly return to the same folder, search results, or filtered view.
This request is currently under review as we evaluate the feasibility of preserving the user's current navigation context (such as folder, search, or filters) after a delete operation. We'll share updates once we have more clarity from our assessment.
