Default Font Options for Editors
in progress

I've tried to set my default font to something other than Verdana, but whenever I create a new article or category, it always defaults to Verdana anyway. I need a setting so that the font will show as accurate during editing and I won't have to go through and change everything manually.

In Progress was a lot cooler guys...come on. I'm having to go behind all of my users to reset their article font choices.

+1 to this request! It is a hassle to verify the formatting since the fonts for the published docs and the editor are different. It would be helpful to not have to change the settings for every article.

Surely the default font should be the brand font set under Knowledge Base Site > Customize site.

On the site we choose font family
for Block editor this does not work

Hi Monica, thanks for writing to us. Currently, there is no option to select the default font name in the project. But we have a plan for the Block editor which is a style guide. This feature will allow you to choose your documentation style preference for your project. Kindly let us know if this feature will be suitable for your use case. Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated. Thanks for your valuable time.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman: I thought there is: Under settings -> Customize site -> Font family. Why is the font that is set there not used as the default font in the block editor? Now the block editor isnt working as WYSIWYG: The font on the site differs from the font in the editor. This is not convenient and even misleading.

Prabhakaran Parasuraman I would really like to be able to see the correct font while I'm working on the article or category instead of trusting that it will publish correctly given certain settings somewhere else. I need WYSIWYG to work as expected. :)
